IG Live: The Art of telling Afrikan Stories with Ropa

On the 2nd of May, Nora hosted a fun and engaging Instagram Live on “The art of telling Afrikan stories” with the podcaster and photographer, Ropa. Ropa recently launched the Afrocomb Podcast, a conversation style podcast where she interviews various people of Afrikan descent based all over Europe. In this live, Ropa shared her motivation behind starting the podcast; one of the main reasons why she started the podcast was to “humanize” Afrikan narrative as she encourages her guests to tell their own stories. She does this through covering four main themes in the conversations – identity, background, relationships and goals. The live was filled with many insights on the importance of telling stories, how we can tell our stories, what drives storytellers like Ropa and loads of laughter. Ropa has been a friend of Isusu Ffena for a long time, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds her!
